Larry Cobb is a registered neutral with over 40 years of litigation experience. As a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania and The Temple University School of Law, Larry began his career in Philadelphia, returning home to Georgia to practice law in 1996.
Larry began as a trial lawyer for the City of Philadelphia and then worked as an insurance defense lawyer for the balance of his career. Larry is an experienced attorney with a background in managing and litigating complex cases. He has tried dozens of cases in both state and federal courts across both Georgia and Pennsylvania.
He has handled a large variety of cases across his career, including premises liability, product liability, dog-bites, car crashes, tractor-trailer accidents, construction accidents, medical and dental malpractice, and most importantly, public sector litigation involving cities and counties in both state and federal courts, including Sec. 1983 civil rights litigation.
He was a managing attorney at Staff Attorney Offices in Philadelphia and Atlanta from 1991 until 2024 at St. Paul and then Travelers Insurance Companies. During that tenure, he litigated cases, provided internal CLE and continuing education to both attorneys and claim partners and he supervised and managed attorneys, which accounted for much of his practice.
This experience provides Larry with incredible insight that is important for resolving cases.
